Kettle Aroma Extracts

The non-acidic resin of our Kettle Aroma Extracts can be enriched with hop oil fractions to provide unique hop aroma and flavor when added to the brewkettle late during the wort boil. These Kalsec® brewkettle products can supplement or entirely replace brew kettle flavor and aroma hopping.

Prelude

Prelude provides background hop character without bitterness and is used to supplement traditional brew kettle flavor hopping. Prelude offers a background flavor complexity composed of lower level hop aroma and midrange hop flavor. Designed for early brewkettle addition, this product can be used to augment your existing aroma hops or provide additional flavor to brews while minimizing kettle foaming.

Crescendo

Crescendo provides balanced hop flavor and aroma without bitterness and is used to supplement traditional brewkettle flavor and aroma hopping. Crescendo offers a balanced, stand-alone hop extract composed of midrange hop aroma and midrange hop flavor. Crescendo will allow you to eliminate or reduce the use of hop pellets or whole hops.

KAE-7

KAE-7 provides enriched sesquiterpene hop flavor and aroma without bitterness to either supplement or completely replace traditional brewkettle flavor and aroma hopping.

Grandissimo

Grandissimo provides enriched, balanced hop aroma without bitterness to either supplement or completely replace traditional brewkettle flavor and aroma hopping. Grandissimo delivers the classic noble hop note. Composed of the distinctive range of hop aromas and hop flavors, Grandissimo is capable of completely replacing aroma hopping.

KAE 4/3A provides a balanced hop aroma and flavor with light stable rho bitterness and can be used for complete late brewkettle boil hopping.

IKE provides a balanced hop aroma and flavor with iso bitterness and can be used for complete late brew kettle boil hopping.
