Kalsec, a leading global producer of high quality flavor and color solutions for the food and beverage industry, is pleased to announce the promotion of three employees to senior leadership positions.

With a focus on future investment and growth, Kalsec has promoted the following individuals to senior leadership positions:
Aaron Wheadon was promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas. Wheadon has been committed to Kalsec for 12 years, where he has led sales efforts in Asia, served as Executive Director of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and has been instrumental to the sales and management of the Zeaxanthin product line.
Wheadon brings a truly global perspective, accompanied by his current pursuit of an Executive International MBA at Purdue University from which he will graduate next year. In this new role, Aaron is responsible for delivering profit to Kalsec through revenue growth of core product sales while leading our customer experience.
Joanne Martz started in Kalsec’s hops program in 2011 and became our Business Unit Director when she took the overall responsibility for the Hops program in 2014. Since 2011, she worked on various business development efforts at Kalsec where she identified and evaluated strategic partnerships and other new business opportunities for the hops business.
In her new, expanded role as Vice President of Corporate Development and Hops Business Unit, Martz will continue leading our hops business unit and is taking on additional responsibilities in leading and/or supporting other corporate development initiatives related to Kalsec’s long-term, strategic growth.
Scott Hunter was promoted to Vice President of Strategic Finance and Capital Investment. In his new role, Hunter is responsible for more strategic analysis of the company’s long-term capital plan, focusing on alignment with the company sales and profit goals, as well as new investments in research, development, and facilities.
Additionally, in partnership with other Kalsec functional and operational leaders, Hunter will be developing analytics to generate actionable recommendations to keep the company moving forward.
