Kalsec has once again received an ‘Excellent’ rating during our 2021 annual Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 2 re-certification, the highest rating possible under the Global Food Safety Initiative. This is Kalsec’s fourth consecutive year of achieving an ‘Excellent’ rating. Kalsec first achieved Level 2 SQF certification in 2014. “We are very proud of this fact, and it is a sign that we have a strong food safety culture here at Kalsec,” said Sally Stephenson, Senior Manager, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Kalsec.
SQF certification is achieved when a company demonstrates exceptional quality control and food safety practices. SQF is a globally recognized certification as a food safety management system and is administered by the SQF Institute. “Our employees continue to demonstrate their ongoing commitment and passion to our customers for safe, high-quality products through their knowledge, experience and training,” said Dr. Scott Nykaza, Chief Executive Officer.
