With the arrival of summer comes the season of smoking meat and savory barbecue sauces. New product launches around the globe are showing an increase in intriguing new BBQ flavors like beer style flavors to create sauces such as pilsner and dark lager shiner, as well as other flavors like mango chipotle, black cherry bourbon and ghost pepper. On a global scale, barbecue flavors from Korea, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Middle East and the Caribbean continue to dominate.

New product introductions for barbecue flavors are increasing globally, almost at the same rate as the U.S. The cultural differences in BBQ vary between each country, from mangal (grill) to kebab and bulgogi.
