Kalsec’s business depends on access to energy and natural resources like water and land. As global citizens, we strive to respect and nurture the environment and communities from which we derive our livelihoods.

 

 

 

 

Reduction over the last 3 years in hazardous air pollutants

 

Reducing energy usage efforts include new solar arrays and electric vehicle stations on our main campus

 

 

 

Efforts are underway to identify processes and improvements to reduce groundwater usage by 25% before 2025

 

Kalsec now provides compostable service ware for employee, guest and sensory test use at our headquarters in Kalamazoo

Strengthening Communities

 

Kalsec engages in local communities around the globe to expand students’ knowledge in the field of science to build stronger communities with employee donations of time and money.

Donated 150 student uniforms and 2 annual staff salaries at a school affected by the Kerala floods in India
