Alliums

Any of a large genus (Allium) of bulbous herbs of the lily family, including the onion, garlic, chive, leek, and shallot. We offer the following alliums in extract form: chive, fried garlic, fried onion, fried shallot, garlic, green onion, leek, onion, and shallot.

Chili Pepper

The pungent pod of any of several species of Capsicum, esp. C. annuum longum, used in cooking for its pungent flavor. We offer the following chili peppers in extract form: capsicum, chipotle, jalapeno, Szechuan, ancho, guajillo, cayenne, ghost, and habanero.

Herbs

A seed-producing annual, biennial or perennial that does not develop persistent woody tissue and dies down at the end of its growing season. Valued for its savory and aromatic qualities. We offer the following herb extracts: basil, bay, cilantro/coriander leaf, dill, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, sage, tarragon, and thyme.

Pepper

1. A perennial climbing vine (Piper nigrum) native to India, widely cultivated for its long slender spikes of small fruit. 2. A pungent black or white spice produced from the dried fruit of this plant, used as a condiment. We offer black pepper and white pepper in extract forms.

Sweet and Seed Spices

A seed, fruit, root, bark, berry, bud or vegetable substance primarily used for flavoring, coloring or preserving food. We offer the following sweet and seed spices: allspice, anise, celery, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, coriander, cumin, fennel, ginger, green ginger, lemongrass, mace, mustard, and nutmeg.
