Real challenges, real results

Challenge: A brewery safety team identified that the batch volume moving through the kettle could pose a risk of boil over, should the boil-over sensor system ever fail. A kettle antifoam could provide another layer of protection, but most contain silicone derivatives or vegetable oil which conflicts with the brewery ethos.  

Solution: Kettle Aroma products provide a 100% hop-derived solution for controlling kettle foam with varying levels of aroma contribution.  

Impact: To allow for use in all of its beer brands without impact on final aroma, Kettle Hops Aroma Prelude was added to the beginning of the boil for an added layer of boil-over protection.
