Kalsec® Pungency Control
One of the most defining aspects of any Indian meal is pungency. Pungency may emanate from a number of spices including chillies, ginger, black pepper, white pepper, and mustard. The thermometer below illustrates the characteristic Scoville pungencies of a variety of Indian dishes.
You will appreciate the balanced and consistent pungency built into Kalsec®'s authentic Indian seasoning blends. We rely on carefully prepared and standardized extracts of pungent spices to deliver "bite" to the palate. You can customize all the Kalsec® blends with individual Aquaresin® spices, and you can adjust pungency with any number of Kalsec® capsicum extracts.
