Herbalox Seasonings
Thermal Stability
Herbalox® Seasoning is highly effective in a variety of products including chicken fat, processed meat and poultry, seafood, snack foods, carotenoid pigments, and spice blends. Figures 1 and 2 show the stability* imparted to chicken fat and soy oil by adding Herbalox® Seasoning Type 0.

* Stability determined by Oxidative Stability Instrument (OSI Instrument) at 110° (The OSI Induction time of fortified sample divided by the OSI Induction time of Control.)
** Performance Index = the improvement in oxidative stability gained by adding the test substance.
