Susceptible people may have severe allergic responses to some food stuffs. Cows' milk, egg, fish, Crustacea, tree nuts, peanut, soybean, and wheat are the eight most common sources. Less common, but still severe, are allergic responses to food stuffs in the group of cotton seed, sesame seed, poppy seed, sunflower seed, other legumes, and mollusks. It is our understanding that proteins from these foods are the agents responsible for allergenic responses.
Some Kalsec® products contain derivatives of soybean oil and soy lecithin. For our customers with soy allergen concerns, we have formulated products designed to address this concern. Please click here to contact Kalsec® for more information.
